WHAT TO EXPECT WITH SUGARING?
What is Sugaring?
-Body Sugaring is an all natural, much less abrasive form of hair removal that is made of sugar, lemon and water. The treatment is performed using a ball of this paste that looks a lot like thick honey. The paste is applied by hand and molded into the hair follicle and removed in the same direction of hair growth. This makes it less irritating, smoother and longer lasting than traditional waxing with much less discomfort.

Question: I just had a wax a few weeks ago with another provider, can I select the maintenance service?
- Unfortunately, new sugar clients can not select maintenance pricing for their first service. Sugaring is a different technique for hair removal and our new to sugar services allow time to understand your hair growth, texture and what will be best for you.

Question: What length should my hair be for sugaring?
-Your hair can be at least ¼ inch long for sugaring

Question: How do I prepare for my sugaring session?
-Exfoliate your skin at least 2 days prior to your sugaring appointment, If your hair is long it can lead to pulling of the hair. You can trim the hair prior to your appointment.
-For best results, exfoliate your skin using our exfoliating mitts or body nets 48-72 hours after your service and keep the skin hydrated.

Question: What after-care should I follow?
-Avoid Heat- Within 2 hours of your appointment no hot showers, baths, exercising or friction. Avoid saunas, hot tubs, tanning and sun bathing for 48 hours after the treatment.
